The London Inn, Padstow

Welcome to The London Inn, Padstow — a traditional Cornish pub steeped in history and brimming with charm.

First opened in 1803, The London Inn was originally formed from three fishermen’s cottages,

reflecting the maritime heritage of this beautiful harbour town.

The pub takes its name from a historic local sloop which sailed the waters around Padstow between 1877–1878.

The Pub

Family-run and proudly independent, The London Inn offers a warm Cornish welcome to both locals and visitors. Located just moments from Padstow’s bustling harbour, our pub is known for its cosy atmosphere, characterful interiors, and one of the largest selections of cask ales in town.

We proudly work in partnership with St Austell Brewery, serving a wide range of their award-winning ales and carefully selected wines, ensuring quality and local flavour in every glass.

​We also offer comfortable Bed & Breakfast accommodation in five charming en-suite rooms:

• The Clipper, The Ketch, and The Schooner – spacious king-size rooms

• The Cutter – a comfortable double room

• The Lugger – a cosy en-suite small double
